About
A little about Sunday Rose Studio
Sunday Rose Studio began with a love for needlepoint and for the things we choose to make and keep.
I’m Jennifer, the designer and painter behind Sunday Rose Studio. By day, I’m a school librarian, and outside the library, you can usually find me with a canvas, a needle, or a paintbrush in hand.
I started Sunday Rose Studio to create the kinds of canvases I wanted to stitch myself: classic but not too serious, a little playful, and worthy of becoming something you’ll keep for years. I’m especially drawn to blue and white, pretty details, a touch of Southern charm, and designs that feel familiar in the very best way.
Each Sunday Rose Studio canvas begins as an idea and is painted by hand with the stitcher in mind. Some are inspired by books and places I love; others are inspired by everyday objects, traditions, and little phrases that make me smile.
Stitch something worth keeping.
One of my favorite things about needlepoint is that we aren't simply making beautiful things—we're making keepsakes.
A canvas might eventually become an ornament pulled out every Christmas, a pillow on a favorite chair, a bag tag carried everywhere, or a small piece tucked into a child's room. The hours spent stitching become part of its story.
That idea is at the heart of Sunday Rose Studio.
I hope you find a canvas here that feels a little bit like you and that you have just as much fun stitching it as I had creating it.
With love,
Jennifer
